Physical Education

"All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified."

-Corinthians 925-27

We aim to deliver a Physical Education curriculum that is broad and balanced to ensure the skills, knowledge and understanding of the physical education programmes are taught in a way that all pupils make progress and take part confidently, responsibly and successfully.

Our curriculum includes competitive striking and fielding, invasion and net/wall games, dance, outdoor and adventurous activities and swimming.

In addition to these main programmes children will also take part in athletics and gymnastics to support the development of flexibility, strength, technique, control and balance.
